The Opportunity
You will play a key role in enabling our next phase of growth by delivering excellent customer service and client outcomes. This includes preparing management reports, financial statements and tax returns for various clients. You will also have exposure to different industries and life cycles, as well as the chance to liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
This position is located in our Bendigo office.
To succeed, you will need to share our purpose and values, be a team player with professional communication and interpersonal skills and find win-win solutions for our clients. Your skills should include a broad understanding of income tax, family tax benefit, company tax, trust law and superannuation provisions. You should also have experience in financial accounting, preferably using software such as MYOB AE, Xero or Quickbooks Intuit.
You should hold a Bachelor's degree in commerce or similar and be certified as Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or CPA certified. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' experience working in an accounting practice.
