The company you are joining is offering an initial three-month temporary contract, with the potential to move to a permanent position. Following the recent merger of two entities, it has become a powerhouse within the industry.
They have completed state-of-the-art, purpose-built offices to ensure the team has everything needed to succeed. As the company grows, so too does its network of suppliers which requires additional headcount in the finance team.
As the Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities will include:
* Processing supplier invoices to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure the correct processing of accounts payable transactions.
* Processing expenses claim, credit card expenses and reconciling suppliers' statements.
* Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies or issues related to billing or payments.
* Accurately enter accounts payable data into the accounting system and ensure proper filing and record-keeping for audit purposes.
* Manage the accounts payable inbox resolve internal and external queries.
* Assist in Month-End Close as well as Compliance & Documentation.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience of an accounts payable or similar finance-related role for a minimum 3+ years
* Adaptable to various ERPs, learning fast different systems (ideally MYOB Account Right)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Self-starter and proactive
