6-Month Contract | $75/hr + super | Hybrid
A well-regarded southern Melbourne council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a range of building infrastructure projects within a major projects environment.
You’ll manage projects end-to-end, from concept and design through to construction and handover, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards while balancing stakeholder and community expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage building projects across design, permits, procurement, construction and handoverOversee contractors, consultants, budgets, timelines and risksPrepare scopes, briefs, costings, feasibility inputs and reportsLead tendering, evaluations and contract administrationEnsure compliance with OH&S, risk, environmental and legislative requirementsLiaise with internal teams, contractors, authorities and community stakeholdersProvide regular financial and project performance reporting
Essential Experience
Local Government Project Management experience (required)Delivery of building construction or upgrade projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, legislation and safetyExperience managing projects from concept to completionStakeholder and community engagement experienceStrong contract and budget management skills
