What you'll be doing?
Client Portfolio Management: Take ownership of your client relationships, serving as a key point of contact and building strong, lasting partnerships.
Financial Expertise: Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a diverse range of clients, including companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and individuals.
Team Leadership: Guide and review the work of intermediate accountants, helping to develop their skills and ensure high-quality output.
Advisory Services: Engage in tax planning, structuring, and advisory discussions, providing valuable insights to clients.
Complex Problem Solving: Handle intricate tax matters and ATO correspondence, showcasing your technical prowess.
Business Development: Support partners with succession, restructuring, and growth projects, contributing to the firm's expansion.
Continuous Improvement: Help enhance systems, processes, and team capabilities, driving efficiency and excellence.
Who are they looking for?
Public Practice Experience: Ideally, you'll have 4+ years of experience in Australian public practice accounting, but we welcome applications from those with relevant skills and potential.
Professional Qualifications: CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion), demonstrating your commitment to the profession.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge across income tax and GST, with the ability to apply this to complex client situations.
Client Management Skills: Experience in managing client relationships and reviewing work, with a client-focused mindset.
Communication Excellence: Confident and clear communicator, able to explain complex concepts to clients and team members.
Mentoring Ability: Enjoy supporting and developing junior team members, contributing to a positive team culture.
Specialized Knowledge: Experience with SMSFs, advisory services, or medical/professional clients is highly valued but not essential.
