The Organisation:
Our client is a well-established business based in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region. Operating multiple independent businesses, this is an organisation that has been through challenges, has re-aligned priorities, re-built the foundations, and is now ready for the right person to lead the organisation into the future. We are now seeking expressions of interest for a highly strategic, visionary and experienced CEO to lead this team through an exciting period of growth and development!
The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of well-performing B2B & B2C businesses whilst scoping out new opportunities for growth & development. Your ability to build a visionary strategy, enable and inspire your team, whilst maintaining strong commercial governance is critical. You will develop a culture of growth, energy and outcome-focus, and inspire those around you, whilst you embark on an exciting period of change – business growth, digital transformation, property re-development and membership engagement!
You will demonstrate:
* Proven track record of leadership with the experience to build and lead a cohesive team with an inspiring culture
* Operational Management: Experience managing a portfolio of businesses, proven commercial nous
* Commercial Growth Mindset: Ability to drive growth in a risk-controlled, safety-first manner
* Connection and advocacy: Able to connect with members, engage key stakeholders and advocate for our community
* Visionary and Engaging: Passionate in our purpose and committed to the strategy
* Experience within a membership-based organisation and/or experience in property re-development would be advantageous.
As CEO, you will provide leadership to the organisation's approx 35 staff as well as build effective engagement with a broad range of external stakeholders, including members, regulatory bodies, local and state government, industry bodies etc.
The position requires a highly experienced, strategic, and financially adept leader with a proven track record in managing organisations of similar size, complexity, and stakeholder diversity.
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered, including performance-based incentives aligned with the achievement of strategic objectives.
