We are seeking a Budget Analyst to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.
We are seeking a motivated Budget Analyst to manage the budgeting and reporting functions for faculty operations, research activities, and research centres. The role involves analysis and oversight of financial activities to ensure compliance with both faculty and university budget guidelines and financial policies. As a key team member, you will provide insightful analysis, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and play an integral role in building financial capabilities. Your expertise will contribute directly to shaping the Faculty's financial strategy and supporting its long-term success.

What You Need To Succeed
* Education, training and / or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience in financial administration.
* Demonstrated extensive experience in the management of financial accounts, budgets and forecasts and maintenance of accurate financial statements and records.
* Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on financial and other data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to gather and integrate information from a number of sources to enable accurate and strategic decision making.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with a diverse client group and work effectively in a high performing team.
* Advanced digital literacy skills, including demonstrated ability to successfully use spreadsheets and accounting systems including Oracle financials or similar.
