Janes & Stewart Structures (JS²) is a well-respected provider of structural & civil engineering consulting services to the Central Queensland region.
We are seeking an Administration & Business Officer to assist the directors with the business operations of the company and to provide administrative support to the professional & technical staff. The candidtate will form an integral part of a small & friendly team & will work closely with the directors, professional & technical staff to facilitate the smooth operation of the business.
Business Support Activites will Include:
* Payroll
* Invoicing
* Accounts receivable/payable
* Maintaining accounting records with accounting software (Xero)
* Maintaining project records with project management software (Abtrac)
* Forecasting & budgets
* Liaise with external bookkeeper & accountant (BAS, FBT, PAYG)
* HR record keeping
* Maintaining professional registrations & insurances
* Ongoing development & maintenance of company processes & systems (business processes, marketing, prequalification registrations)
Administration Support Activities will Include:
* Office reception (in person, phone, email)
* General office duties
* Proposals, letter & report preparation (MS Suite)
* Facilitating office, asset & vehicle supplies & maintenance
* Scanning & filing
* Travel arrangements
