As a Visiting Medical Officer – Otolaryngology, you will provide high‐quality, evidence‐based specialist ENT care as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and across MLHD.

• Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of ENT conditions in elective and emergency settings
• Inpatient and outpatient management, including clinics, peri‐operative care, and follow‐up
• Participation in the on‐call roster to support timely access to acute ENT services
• Contribution to the development, coordination, and quality improvement of ENT services across the district
• Supervision, education, and support of junior medical staff and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Participation in clinical governance, risk management, and safety initiatives
• Supporting outreach, telehealth, and rural models of care where required

• Holds registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Otolaryngology (ENT), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated significant experience relevant to Otolaryngology (ENT) practice and evidence of competence in skills relevant to Australian rural hospital practice, including trauma and emergency scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
• Availability to participate in an on‐call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
