We are seeking an experienced Associate lawyer to join our national Environment & Planning team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will provide expert advice on environmental and planning issues related to energy, renewables, and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Optimizing approval pathways for energy and infrastructure projects;
* Collaborating with Property and Corporate teams on various projects;
* Providing expert advice on environmental assessments, planning appeals, biodiversity offsets, licensing, secondary approvals, neighbor agreements, and incident response;
* Contributing to the growth and success of the team with career development opportunities.

Broad Responsibilities
* Review and advise on environmental assessments and planning appeals;
* Liaise with Property and Corporate teams to coordinate project activities;
* Provide guidance on biodiversity offsets, licensing, secondary approvals, neighbor agreements, and incident response;
* Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize approval pathways for energy and infrastructure projects;
