Senior Account Manager Agronomy Job Description
This position provides the opportunity to make a significant impact in the agricultural industry by delivering agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert agronomic advice and guidance to clients to help them achieve their business goals.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as target new clients through superior sales and agronomic input.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices by conducting field days and farmer meetings.
Requirements:
* Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices is essential for success in this role.
* A minimum of 4-5 years experience building enduring partnerships with customers, delivering agronomic advice and service is required.
* History of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and application applicable to crops grown in the region is necessary.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are expected.
* A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license are essential.
