About the Role

We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced Centre Director to lead our brand-new Lyons Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) programs.

This is your chance to put your stamp on a growing service, lead passionate teams, and create an environment where children, families and educators truly thrive.

As Centre Director, you will:

* Provide strong, intentional leadership across both the ELC and OSHC
* Ensure high‑quality educational programs and exceptional child safety practices
* Oversee compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
* Act as the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader for two approved services
* Build a positive, motivated workplace culture
* Strengthen partnerships with families and the broader community
* Drive continuous improvement and professional growth across your teams

To be successful for this role, you must possess the following:

* Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) – 4 years, ACECQA approved
* Minimum 5 years practical experience in early learning settings
* At least 2 years in an early learning management role with direct staff supervision
* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and mediation skills
* Proven budget management experience
* In‑depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF & MTOP, and government funding models
* Commitment to professional boundaries and ethical practices

Desirable:

* Experience with Children’s Services Programme, Three‑Year‑Old Preschool Initiative, and Additional Child Care Subsidy programmes
* Current First Aid Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis)
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Card and Police Check
* Mandatory Reporting training/refresher within the last 12 months
