Accounting Support Role
The opportunity to work part-time as a reception/admin assistant has arisen at a well-established accounting firm based in Modbury, working 3 days a week Tues, Wed and Thurs. This role will support accountants with all administration needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service creating a positive first impression both in person and over the phone.
* Manage phone calls, greet visitors, schedule appointments, maintain the reception area & calendars, and take messages.
* Enter client details into records and databases.
* Maintain accurate and organized files, both physical and digital.
* Provide administrative support to other employees by preparing documents.
* Assist with invoicing, credit card payments, and basic debtors.
* Support the accounting team with various administrative and basic accounting tasks.
Requirements
* A friendly yet professional demeanor is essential as the face of the business.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for phone-based and in-person interactions.
* Excellent time management, organisation, and attention to detail are crucial.
* An intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
* Problem-solving and prioritisation skills are essential.
