MMJ Real Estate is seeking a proactive and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our established Wollongong office. This is a hands on position ideal for someone with several years experience in marketing at a coordinator level, who enjoys balancing creativity with execution and takes pride in delivering polished, high quality work. You will be part of a close knit internal Marketing team supporting a broader business of over 65 staff, offering the best of both worlds, a collaborative team environment backed by the scale, stability, and reputation of a long established organisation.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will support the development and delivery of marketing initiatives that showcase our clients' properties at their best, strengthen our brand presence, and drive successful campaign outcomes. You will be trusted to help manage campaign activity from preparation through to delivery, ensuring a consistent and professional result.
The role is an office based, permanent part time, Monday to Friday, structured between 25 and 30 hours per week, with final hours aligned to the experience of the successful candidate and the needs of the role. Flexibility is offered around start and finish times to support strong work life balance while ensuring business needs are met. Example timing could be 9.30am to 2.30pm. We are looking for someone available for an immediate start.
About the Role
As Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key support role within the Marketing team, helping deliver marketing campaigns that strengthen brand presence, promote our clients' properties, and support business growth. You will be trusted to help bring campaigns to life, ensuring they are prepared professionally and ready for market. This is a hands on role offering variety across digital marketing, content creation, events, and brand activity, suited to someone who enjoys being organised, proactive, and close to the day to day delivery of marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
•Managing the flow of marketing campaigns so activity is organised, timely, and delivered to a high standard
•Designing and sending EDM campaigns, including writing copy and building templates
•Writing and editing content across a range of channels while maintaining MMJ's brand voice
•Planning and scheduling social media content, and monitoring performance
•Supporting digital advertising, including paid campaigns
•Creating branded marketing materials such as invitations, brochures, and promotional collateral
•Assisting with the planning and delivery of events including auctions, client functions, and corporate initiatives
•Maintaining brand consistency across all marketing platforms and materials
•Working closely with internal teams and external partners to support marketing activity
•Helping present our clients' properties to market in a professional and compelling way
About You
You are an experienced marketing professional with ideally around five years experience in a coordinator role and are comfortable working within a structured, fast moving environment. Highly organised and detail focused, you manage competing priorities with confidence and take pride in producing polished, professional work. You have a clear understanding of the value marketing brings to brand presence, client engagement, and business growth, and you enjoy being part of a collaborative, well regarded business.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
•Around five years' experience in a marketing coordinator role, experience within the real estate industry will be highly regarded, however experience within professional services or a similar industry is a must
•Excellent copywriting skills with strong attention to detail and creative flair
•A proactive, detail oriented mindset with the ability to juggle competing tasks and deadlines
•The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
•Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
•Strong time management skills and a solutions focused approach
•Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline would be beneficial
•Technical capability in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lightroom), Microsoft Office suite, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads.
