The Role
Lead technical discovery and solution design for C&I, microgrid, and select front-of-meter ESS opportunities
Develop system architectures, one-lines, layouts, BOMs, and preliminary performance models
Act as the senior technical authority in customer and partner engagements, addressing risk, constraints, and objections
Partner with Sales on pricing strategy, value positioning, and opportunity qualification
Deliver clear technical scopes and ensure seamless handover to delivery and engineering teams
Build and refine tools, templates, and technical frameworks to enable scalable growth
Provide market, customer, and competitive intelligence to Product and Leadership teams
Represent the organisation as a technical authority at industry forums and key customer engagements
The Requirements
3-7+ years in energy storage, power systems, or technical sales / application engineering
Proven experience designing and positioning C&I or microgrid ESS solutions
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance performance, cost, and risk
Confident, credible presence with senior customer and partner stakeholders
Able to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, commercial terms
Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
Willing to travel domestically
