CORPORATE VENTURES (LABOUR) PTY LIMITED t/a BOWSERS is a specialist provider of passive fire protection services across a wide range of commercial settings, including hotels, offices, shopping centres, aged care facilities, childcare centres, and residential strata units.
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Fibrous plasterer to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out plastering duties on client sites as directed
Interpret and work accurately from drawings to set out jobs
Install fire-rated board systems, partitioning, wall linings, ceilings, and encasements to minimise fire spread risks
Apply coatings including vermiculite fire spray in line with BCA and code requirements
Perform installation and rectification works for passive fire upgrade projects
Complete site job records and report issues or remedial actions taken
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and job specifications
Keep up to date with rigid sheeting installation techniques and industry developments
Accurately determine and manage consumables and equipment for each job to reduce wastage
Work efficiently within set timeframes and escalate any issues that may delay project progress
Report site issues promptly to management
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures and ensure the use of appropriate PPE
Support and mentor less experienced personnel to uphold high standards on site
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of passive fire protection practices
Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Ability to work independently and within a team
Robust commitment to safety and compliance
Reliable and punctual with good communication skills

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
