This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the project procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health and Safety at all times.**Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:*** Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in planning, executing, and closing out construction projects.* Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.* Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance.* Monitor and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, identifying potential delays or cost overruns.* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.* Participate in project meetings, contributing technical expertise and problem-solving solutions.* Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures on site.* Assist in the procurement process, including evaluating bids and managing vendor relationships.**About You*** Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.* Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role within the construction industry.* Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and safety regulations.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as required.* Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards is highly desirable.* We are committed to developing and retaining the best people and provide the best possible learning and development opportunities.
