About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a passionate
Mechanical Design Graduate
to join our team. This position is based at our Bendigo, Victoria office and will involve design, drafting, and supporting a range of projects from initial concept to final production.
Responsibilities
Knowledge and operation of CAD programs, most notably AutoCAD (2D) and Solidworks (3D), to provide equipment models and designs based on provided engineering information.
Prepare detailed drawings to IFC level as required for the manufacture of equipment.
Liaise directly with clients to define scope and secure projects.
Perform detailed design and layout work.
Ensure completed works comply with relevant codes and standards.
Maintain quality, safety and environmental standards.
Work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Support the project team within your region.
Requirements
1-2 years of design experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive approach with ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
Excellent presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
Current right to work in Australia (only applicants with this right will be considered).
