We are seeking a skilled Product Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to mechanical personnel, working closely with engineering, operations, production, and sales teams to maintain and enhance our high-quality mechanical offering.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role that combines mechanical mentoring, product lifecycle support, and technical troubleshooting. As the Product Specialist – Mechanical Support, you will be the technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to mechanical personnel across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Mentor and support mechanical workshop personnel
* Provide product training and technical support to internal teams
* Assist in commissioning of mining machinery projects
* Manage customer interactions and deliver technical assistance
* Review and update project documentation, assessments, and estimates
* Contribute to production scheduling and resource planning
* Ensure product documentation is accurate and up-to-date
* Log issues/resolutions and contribute to continuous improvement
* Assist with product development, R&D, and proposal generation
* Maintain standards and monitor production quality outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Mechanical Trade Qualification or Mechanical Engineering background
* Over 10 years of experience (desirable) in underground development mining equipment overhaul
* Strong technical knowledge and ability to work autonomously
* Proven mentoring skills and passion for uplifting team capability
* High-level communication and customer service skills
