About the Role
This is a full‑time role reporting to the Sales Manager. You will be the driving force behind community engagement, building authentic relationships and creating impactful programs that reflect our brand and values.
You'll be responsible for:
* Community Partnerships – Building and nurturing ongoing relationships with local community groups, churches, interest‑based organisations, and clubs. Identify areas for mutual benefit, support, and sponsorship opportunities.
* Event Planning & Delivery – Proactively seek out, plan, and deliver community‑focused events and activities. Manage all logistics from start to finish (e.g., Blackheath Rhododendron Festival).
* Community Communication – Manage and monitor engagement platforms. Deliver newsletters, web content, social media posts, and phone engagement that resonate with the local community. Encouraging prospective residents to visit Treeview Estates.
* Reporting & Improvement – Monitor engagement activities, compile performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing community connection.
About You
You're a sociable, persuasive, and energetic individual with strong ties to the Blue Mountains communities. You combine relational warmth with a "get things done" attitude and thrive when delivering tangible results.
You bring:
* Deep local community connections – You know the people, groups, and networks that make the region tick, and you can inspire trust and participation.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills – You're empathetic, engaging, and persuasive, able to connect with seniors, community leaders, and residents alike.
* Strong organisation & independence – Able to manage multiple priorities, transport and set up event displays, and deliver consistently.
* Relevant experience – 5+ years in public relations, community development, or a highly relational sales role with proven event coordination experience.
* Practical requirements – Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, and availability for occasional weekend work including up to two local community engagements each month.
