Our Business Bank (BB) serves over 10,000 clients in the medium to large business segment across Australia, with complex financial needs and turnover between $10m to $500m offers a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers.
The Corporate Finance team sits within BB and leads complex event-driven and transformational opportunities for mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and public companies. Corporate Finance deals usually involve lending requirements of $50m to $500m and the team supports & partners with a diverse range of businesses across Australia.
**Do work that matters**
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance your role will include financial analysis, modelling, structuring, and execution of complex financing opportunities as well as assisting with the ongoing development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive market engagement.
**More specifically you will**
- Focus on structuring, analysing, preparing credit submissions and modelling complex financing opportunities as part of a dedicated front office origination team
- Take ownership of transaction execution including deal structuring and process management
- Support MCG network to identify and originate event driven finance transactions from within MCG client base.
- Using your project management skills to support the delivery and execution of transactions within specified time frames.
- Take responsibility for documentation negotiations
- Prepare pitch packs, research and present to clients as well as attend to internal compliance requirements required to be a success in your role.

- Highly developed research, analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to present/speak to clients
- Previous experience in a Corporate Finance, Banking or financial analysis role in a front office origination context
