**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a newly created position based in Melbourne (working on a national scale). The Sales & Marketing Manager - Australia will be responsible for driving and building a national sales team. Reporting through to the directors, the opportunity allows an established forwarding sales manager to develop their own team.
**DUTIES**
- Develop and drive sales activity through a strong pipeline and productivity
- Nurture existing and develop new verticals for the business to target
- Work with corporate team and managers to ensure service offerings are deliverable
- Build professional relationships with regional and global vital contacts
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years' of hands-on selling freight forwarding in the Australian market
- Previous experience leading a team is an advantage
- Ability to demonstrate selling experience within the market
- Ambitious to help drive the commercial vision of the business
