Senior Teachers Inclusive Education are specialist educators who work as part of a regional, multidisciplinary team, supporting schools across the Northern Territory. Guided by a multi-tiered system of support framework, this role focuses on building the capability of educators to effectively support students and maximise their educational outcomes.
The position engages directly with educators to provide evidence-based advice and recommendations for students with disability to enable them to access the curriculum and participate in appropriate educational programs.
This role offers variety and impact, with travel across regions being an essential component to support service delivery and deliver professional training within schools.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate qualification relevant to special or inclusive education.

Corporate-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver's licence.
Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to 4 days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education and Training.
