About the Opportunity As a Refrigeration & Facilities Supervisor, your primary focus will be hands‑on trade work, ensuring refrigeration and HVAC systems remain compliant, operational, and responsive to breakdowns. Your responsibilities will include: Performing repair, maintenance, and fault‑finding on air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems Responding to reactive breakdowns and supporting planned maintenance activities Conducting inspections across accommodation rooms, kitchens, laundries, and plant areas Supporting the upkeep of village facilities, including general repairs and non‑technical maintenance Coordinating day‑to‑day tasks and providing guidance to facilities or maintenance staff as required Ensuring work is completed safely, compliantly, and with minimal impact to room availability Assisting with waste management, grounds, and general village presentation where needed This role is ideal for a refrigeration tradesperson who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working in a close‑knit remote team environment. You’ll bring: Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Current Refrigerant Handling Licence Restricted electrical licence (or equivalent) Experience maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial, industrial, or remote environments Ability to work autonomously and respond to reactive maintenance requests Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS requirements Valid Australian driver’s licence Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship not available) Flexibility to work day or night shift when required Desirable: Supervisory or step‑up leadership experience LF forklift licence Experience working in remote or resource‑sector environments What’s Next?
