Position Overview
We have an enticing residential Tradesperson Fixed Plant Boilermaker position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a 10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of a 7/7 (12 hour day) roster.
Responsibilities
* Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes.
* Active participation in all communication and awareness systems.
* Promoting health and safety work practices with peers, contractors, and suppliers.
* Operate in accordance with the Companys Environmental Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Adhere to the clean‐shaven policy while working with in the Processing Plant. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
* Through the use of procedures to get the job done, ensure that improvements to the procedures are captured and changes are made to controlled documents by custodian.
* Ensure the execution of all boiler making maintenance activities for the Process Plant.
* Ensure effective communication of work, issues and conditions status takes place with delegate prior to departure from site.
* Receive and discuss daily instructions from Supervisor and Leading Hand and maintain statutory records for all equipment in the fixed plant.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Boilermaker Tradesperson in the mining industry.
* Able to work as part of a team and foster team building.
* Work with attention to detail.
* Keen to learn and asks for assistance where required.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to learn and retain knowledge to apply to day-to-day tasks.
* Relevant Trade Qualification & Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
