About the Opportunity
Your role will primarily involve supporting the preparation of environmental impact assessments and approvals for projects across Western Australia. You will have the opportunity to work with our ecology and bushfire planning teams and may support fieldwork, reporting, site inspections, and preliminary site walkovers to inform environmental assessments and approvals.
Your role includes preparing a range of deliverables and reports to support approvals under State and Commonwealth environmental legislation, including environmental due diligence assessments, environmental assessment reports, clearing permits, approval strategies and EPBC referrals. You will identify opportunities for positive environmental outcomes through projects with land managers and assist with client meetings and project management where required.

Requirements
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, Environmental Planning or related field.
Between 1 and 3 years' experience in environmental management or assessment in a consultancy, government or industry role.
Previous fieldwork experience (desirable).
Experience in preparing quality technical reports.
Current C Class driver's licence and ability to travel if required.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
