Job Title: Security Operations Manager

Location: West Sector, Operations


Job Summary

A leading role in a global logistics network that requires a security professional to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of security systems.


Job Description

Your New Role: As an established security professional, you will be responsible for building productive relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party consultants while adhering to client values.

The Role Includes:

1. Providing a secure environment for company/customer assets using up-to-date technology to monitor and control personnel access to sites, monitor and record inventory, and manage onsite guards.
2. Ensuring rapid response to any incident using up-to-date sensors and alarm systems. Managing the monitoring company to ensure that business response requirements are adhered to.
3. Overseeing the management of alarm systems and site security, which is managed using the latest techniques for preventing entry to sites when unoccupied.
4. Ensuring compliance with the customer's security requirements and undertaking regular review and management of issues/compliance.
5. Providing the business with an effective security solution to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to facilities.
6. Maintaining and promoting WHS policies, procedures, and systems.
7. Participating fully in WHS audits and investigations as required.


What We Need From You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum Diploma in Security & Risk Management; qualifications and/or experience in health and safety are desirable.
2. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related area of study is preferred.
3. You must hold and maintain a valid 1AC/2A NSW Security License and NSW Driver's License.
4. Demonstrated experience working in a security operations management role for a minimum of 5 years in logistics or warehousing.
5. Demonstrated experience in security systems, e.g., guard force, access control, etc.
6. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing and mentoring teams for high performance.
