DO 18179 Builder / Carpenter (With Project Management Experience) - short-term contract
Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit located in a major gold-producing district, is currently seeking a Builder / Carpenter with Project Management experience to join their site team. This is a short-term contract role (2–3 months), working FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster;
Requirements:
Valid
WA Builder's Licence;
Trade qualified in carpentry
or strong hands-on carpentry skills;
Experience overseeing or coordinating
small-scale site projects;
Strong
organisational
and
communication
skills;
Ability to
pass a pre-employment medical
, including drug & alcohol screening;
Able to provide a
valid National Police Clearance;
Willingness to meet
site-specific clearance requirements;
Position Duties:
Oversee and coordinate minor construction and maintenance projects across site camp facilities;
Manage small teams or subcontractors on specific tasks when required;
Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications;
Ensure all work is completed to industry and site safety standards;
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and infrastructure, identifying and addressing maintenance needs;
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and safety compliance;
Liaise with site management to plan, schedule, and deliver required works within tight timeframes;
