Fleet Manager
to lead our Victorian driver network and ensure the people who make miracles happen every day have the support, guidance, and resources they need to deliver excellence. About the Role
As our Fleet Manager, you'll be the backbone of our driver operations, managing our contract driver network with a focus on performance, compliance, and engagement. Working
6:00am - 2:00pm
, you'll coordinate the people who make our mission possible, ensuring every driver delivers excellence whilst maintaining the highest safety and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
* Coordinate and support our contract driver network, ensuring exceptional performance and professionalism
* Develop efficient driver rosters and scheduling to optimise service delivery
* Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
* Manage invoice queries and payment-related issues with prompt resolution
* Conduct driver quarterly performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and clear expectations
* Foster positive relationships that promote driver engagement, wellbeing, and retention
* Monitor fleet performance metrics and prepare operational reports for management
* Implement fair consequence management processes when performance issues arise
What We're Looking For
* 2-5 years' experience in contractor fleet management, logistics, or transport operations
* Strong knowledge of transport industry compliance and safety standards
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with drivers
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with experience managing multiple priorities
* Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce planning
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and web-based ERP system
* Customer-centric mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
