The Opportunity
Joining the Infrastructure Division, you will play a pivotal role in the Water & Waste section. You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of critical water and waste projects, ensuring they meet the technical, safety, and community standards of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage civil infrastructure projects with a focus on Water and Waste assets.
* Provide client‐side project management, including contractor oversight and budget management.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project outcomes with the Council's Community Strategic Plan.
* Ensure all works comply with the Local Government (State) Award and safety protocols.

About You:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in project engineering, ideally within the Australian water, waste, or general civil infrastructure industry.
* A 'community‐first' mindset and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative council environment.
* Willingness to relocate to Northern NSW for an initial 3‐month term (with potential for long‐term extensions).
