Role Overview
As a skilled Turner & Fitter, you’ll be a key part of the workshop team, producing and assembling precision components, maintaining machinery accuracy, and working on a broad range of engineering tasks supporting our clients’ equipment and fabrication needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate manual lathes, milling machines and related workshop tools
* Operating Large boring machine
* Turn, machine and fit components to tight tolerances
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Perform precision measurement and inspection
* Assist with general engineering tasks including fabrication and assembly
* Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Turner & Fitter or equivalent experience
* Strong experience with manual turning, fitting and machining
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Reliable, team-oriented and safety-focused
* Experience with hydraulic cylinders or industrial equipment an advantage
