About You
Senior and Principal Solicitors in the Civil Law & Commercial Strategy Division represent NSW Government agencies in significant litigation matters before courts and tribunals. Roles involve handling legal issues in areas such as Torts Service, Torts Justice, and Public Interest & Protection. They manage legal practices, supervise junior solicitors, and provide expert advice on complex issues, requiring advanced legal skills and extensive litigation experience.
Essential Requirements
* Law degree from an accredited institution or Legal Practitioners Admission Board's Diploma in Law
* Admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
* Extensive experience in providing advice and representation in complex legal matters relevant to the division
* Australian citizenship (for roles in the Public Interest & Protection Practice Group)
