The primary role of the pharmacy assistant is to
* Assist our customers with their healthcare needs and general enquires.
* Support the pharmacists and dispensary staff.
* Managing scripts in and out.
* Marking off orders and replenishing stock.
Qualifications & experience
* S2/S3 Certificate or Certificate II/III in community pharmacy must be held at the time of application
* Exceptional Customer service and communication Skills
* Dedicated work ethic and strong team player
* Strong attention to detail and highly organised
* Ability to work independently and also effectively within a team & take direction
* Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic work ethic
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
* Australian citizens only are eligible for this position
* Minimum of 1+ years previous pharmacy assistant experience required
Tasks & responsibilities
* Customer service in all areas of the pharmacy including the News agency/Golden Casket counter
* Follow all correct procedures when processing cash or credit card transactions
* Display working knowledge of health conditions related to pharmacy products and services
* Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy appearance in the pharmacy
* Assist in maintaining stock presentation, including cleaning and shelf labelling
* Assist in unpacking and putting away stock
* Assist in stock take
