ACE Radio Wimmera is on the lookout for a driven and people-focused Account Manager to join our high-performing sales and marketing team across 3WM, MIXX FM and The Weekly Advertiser.

About the role
As an Account Manager, your primary objective is to achieve agreed monthly revenue targets while delivering outstanding service to your clients. You will manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, identify new business opportunities and develop tailored advertising solutions that deliver real results.
You will work closely with our marketing, promotions, events and programming teams to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly from concept through to completion.
While some work is office-based, this role also involves regular client meetings, presentations and networking within the local business community.

Key responsibilities
* Represent the ACE Radio and The Weekly Advertiser brands professionally in the market
* Build, grow and retain long-term client relationships
* Identify, source and secure new business opportunities
* Conduct client meetings, fact-finding and campaign briefings
* Design integrated advertising solutions across radio, digital and print platforms
* Present campaign proposals and close sales
* Execute, monitor and track campaigns from start to finish
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
* Meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets
* Maintain accurate records, reports and forecasts as directed
* Ensure all activity complies with media law, regulations and industry codes

About you
You are a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk through the door. You are organised, resilient and motivated by achieving results.
You will ideally bring:
* A genuine passion for sales, marketing and the media industry
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Creative thinking and the ability to develop tailored solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence to pursue leads and close deals
* Strong time management and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Competency with IT systems and reporting tools
* Previous experience in media, advertising or solution-based sales is highly regarded, but not essential
