About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Assurance team in Brisbane. The role of the Senior SE / SA Engineer includes works associated with requirements engineering, interface & integration management, safety assurance, human factors and RAMs. This may include projects associated with rail, light rail and roads.

What you will do
* Responsible for producing and checking works associated with system engineering and safety assurance under limited supervision.
* You will be expected to work within a defined area of responsibility on systems engineering and / or safety assurance. This may include being responsible for specific parts of an external design project.
* Liaise and develop sound relationships with clients, industry networks, government agencies, sub-consultants and external stakeholders relevant to the Rail group's activities.
* Provide technical input at a senior level in generating innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients.
* Manage, present, and argue assurance cases and present to change control boards
About you
* Degree in a relevant field of engineering (preferable Masters in Systems Engineering or equivalent, or has attained INCOSE ASEP or CSEP)
* Familiar with the system lifecycle stages and its impacts on systems engineering activities
* Industry experience in systems and safety assurance
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
* Membership of relevant professional institutions / professional peer bodies (including Chartered Status from the Institution of Engineers Australia or equivalent (is desirable)
