Adecco has partnered with a pioneering global technology leader to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to join their High Voltage team. This organisation plays a key role in driving access to reliable, sustainable, and modern energy solutions.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for managing all engineering, project, and contract management activities—ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality delivery across a diverse portfolio of high voltage power system projects.
You’ll lead a team of engineers and project professionals, overseeing both technical execution and continuous improvement initiatives, while fostering collaboration across key departments such as sales, supply chain, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 10+ project engineers, application engineers, and administrators
* Drive delivery of SQDIP metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity)
* Manage full project lifecycle – from enquiry to commissioning
* Implement continuous improvement using LEAN and Six Sigma (DMAIC)
* Ensure all solutions comply with customer specs and international standards
* Support tendering processes and collaborate with supply chain on vendor performance
* Act as a key stakeholder in revenue and resource planning discussions
* Contribute to a strong safety culture and lead by example in compliance and risk control
About you
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
* 10 years’ experience in the power or high-voltage industry
* Strong project leadership skills and experience managing large-scale technical projects
* Certified Six Sigma Green Belt with a track record of delivering DMAIC projects
* Familiar with SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office
* Proven people leadership experience, ideally within a blue-collar / EBA environment
* Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
