Administration Officer / Sales Support
My client, LiquaForce is looking to fill the newly created role of Administration Officer at our plant in Mackay. This site based role will help keep operations running smoothly on the ground, working alongside the factory and salespersons. The position is perfect for someone confident in their admin skills, ready to roll up their sleeves and comfortable managing a variety of admin based tasks – even if new to them.
About the Role
- Work closely with managers, staff, and the sales team in a fast paced environment
- Be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers in person or by phone
- Full-time Monday to Friday permanent position based in Mackay
- Ability to work from home at times
- Visit our Ingham Plant once each month
Main Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries
- Ensure sales processes run smoothly and customers are satisfied at every step
- Capture and maintain customer information in the CRM system
- Provide ongoing support to salespersons and assist in training others in procedures
- Accounts payable and receivable including invoice preparation and reconciliations
- Data entry and financial assistance (bank accounts, expenses, credit cards)
- Support the sales team with up-to-date pricing and marketing content
- Become a key user of the stock control and ordering system (Tidy Stock)
- Help organise and attend field days and business events
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-supplied office environment
- Update the company website and social media accounts
- Contribute to developing and maintaining internal procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Strong all-round administrative skills and attention to detail (i.e. 5+ years)
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable and expense reconciliation
- Confident multi-tasker and computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Previous experience in onsite admin or sales support role highly desirable
- Skilled at communicating effectively with everyone, from factory workers to farmers
- Excellent team player who supports and adds value to production and sales
- Can-do attitude, flexibility and someone who pitches in where needed
- Someone who is keen to learn recent systems and tasks
- Comfortable working in a less structured environment where flexibility is key
- C Class QLD Driver’s Licence
