 
        
        Transforming data landscapes with innovative solutions is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will spearhead mission-critical migration and integration projects, modernise legacy data systems, and deliver robust, high-performing solutions for the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
 * Implement scalable data architectures using Informatica IDMC/CDI, PowerCenter, and related ETL tools.
 * Lead solution design for migration and re-platforming initiatives, including data analysis, impact assessments, and detailed flow diagrams.
 * Modernise and re-engineer legacy data warehouses and ETL workflows into efficient, future-ready architectures.
 * Build and optimise complex ETL pipelines ensuring performance, integrity, and scalability across on-prem and hybrid environments.
 * Apply data governance and quality frameworks with Informatica IDQ.
 * Streamline deployments through CI/CD practices (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions).
 * Provide technical leadership and mentoring, sharing best practices with the wider team.
Requirements
 * Senior-level experience in data engineering and solution design with deep expertise in Informatica (IDMC/CDI, PowerCenter).
 * Proven success delivering large-scale migrations, re-platforming, or modernization projects.
 * Strong background working with legacy platforms (Oracle, DB2, custom systems) and RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres, SQL/PL-SQL).
 * Knowledge of data modelling (relational, dimensional, operational) and governance (row/column-level security).
 * Familiarity with Agile practices (JIRA, Confluence).
 * Exposure to data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
 * Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
 * Must have experience in financial services environment.
