Manly Boathouse, a thriving restaurant in Eastern Bayside Brisbane, is seeking a passionate and experienced pastry chef / cook to join our energetic team. Maybe you/'re doing your Cert 3 - and looking to put your new skills to use? If you have the right attitude, we have the know-how to teach you a whole bunch of new skills, whilst working in a fun and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Assisting the pastry team, 20 - 24 hours a week
An opportunity to showcase your talent and creativity, alongside developing new skills working with our experienced pastry team
Working with the culinary team at large, all within a fun and supportive environment
Qualifications / Requirements
MUST HAVE experience mixing and measuring bakery ingredients
MUST HAVE a passion to learn more and put your baking skills to work
You will be ok to take direction and work unsupervised
You will know how to work in a food safety, compliant manner
You will need to live close-by – or have your own transport
