Did you want to play an important role in assisting our eligible residents with the provision of services that are part of the Commonwealth Home Support Scheme (CHSP)?

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and contribute to a small dedicated team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Community Programs services for eligible residents.
· Oversee the following functions: Home Assist, Hills Community Transport, the Aged Care Volunteer Visitation Scheme and Social Options programs.
· Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment while ensuring alignment with Council's broader strategic goals.
Ideal Candidate:
· Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to a small team, with a strong focus on staff development and performance management in a local government setting.
· High degree of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills characterised by patience, empathy and understanding.
· Proven ability to liaise effectively with staff, volunteers, consultants, contractors, government and non government agencies and the public at all levels.

Salary range ($111,207 - $117,773pa plus superannuation pro-rata for part-time hours)
This position is a .8FTE contracted to 30 June 2027.
