We are now seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and scale EzLicence’s sales function across Australia. This role reports into the Head of Operations and comes at a pivotal time, offering the opportunity to lead a newly structured sales team and drive the next phase of growth. About the Role As the Sales Manager, you will own the end-to-end performance of the sales and instructor lifecycle across the Australian market, spanning acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement and retention. This is a true player-coach role, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will lead a small team while also actively contributing to growth, building scalable systems, and embedding structure across the sales function. Key Responsibilities Sales & Lifecycle Ownership Own end-to-end instructor lifecycle performance from acquisition through to retention and re-engagement Drive growth across marketplace supply, SaaS adoption and training products Identify funnel drop-offs and implement targeted strategies to improve conversion Optimise onboarding and activation to increase speed to value Revenue Operations & Systems Own and optimise HubSpot CRM, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and data quality Build scalable sales processes, cadences and playbooks Implement automation across outreach and engagement to improve efficiency Leverage tools and AI to enhance lead prioritisation and team productivity Hands-On Sales Execution Actively contribute to sales through outreach, partnerships and deal execution Support high-value opportunities and strategic accounts Test and iterate new sales approaches and growth initiatives Maintain strong relationships with key instructors and partners Sales Strategy & Performance Define and execute the AU sales strategy aligned with growth targets Set and track OKRs across acquisition, activation and retention Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities Own forecasting and performance reporting across the region Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach and develop the AU Sales Executive and broader team Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture Implement training, QA processes and performance frameworks Act as the escalation point for sales-related matters in AU Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Product, Data and CX teams to align the full funnel Provide insights into customer needs, market trends and product opportunities Contribute to broader business initiatives and strategic priorities About You We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate: A strong commercial mindset with ownership of revenue outcomes Experience leading and scaling a sales function in a fast-paced environment A player-coach approach, comfortable leading while also executing Strong systems thinking, with the ability to build scalable processes Confidence working cross-functionally across product, marketing and operations High levels of accountability, ownership and resilience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Essential Skills 5 years in sales leadership roles with revenue ownership Experience in marketplace, SaaS or platform-based businesses Strong CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) and sales automation tools Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop sales talent Deep understanding of sales processes, lifecycle management and conversion optimisation Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams Why Join EzLicence?
