We've been overwhelmed by the tremendous applicants from our last role.
So we're doubling down.
A Note on Compensation
Unpaid role to start, best suited for those seeking real-world experience and impact.
We're upfront about this.
Are you part of this solution, ready to build something not just for Canberra, but for the nation?
Company Description
Stride is 100% Australian Owned. We are re-shaping shared transport in Australia with sustainable, convenient, and affordable active transport options through our shared mobility ecosystem. We aim to transform the way Australians move around their cities, making urban commuting more efficient and environmentally friendly. Our focus is on creating innovative solutions that improve urban mobility.
Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Market Analyst & Business Builder, ideally based in Canberra, but we're flexible. This is a build, test, learn, win role – perfect for someone who wants to work at the intersection of strategy, policy, and mobility, and grow with the company from day one.
You'll be deep in the real world:
* Researching new markets and identifying opportunities
* Contacting LGAs (Local Government Areas) about shared mobility programs
* Building business cases (cost, revenue, usage, ops)
* Tracking policy, funding, and competition and then owning your vertical
* Helping to craft the national strategy from the ground up
This isn't about shifting documents or waiting for permission. It's about shaping the future of how Australians move.
What You Bring:
* Business strategy, market fit and more
* Exposure or willing to grow, LGAs, policy, or infrastructure programs
* Data, research and presentation
* A founder mindset - you don't wait, you build and own the documentation
* Learn, Build, Document, Teach, Repeat
You Must Be:
* A critical thinker
* A doer
* A go-getter
* An owner - Learn, Build, Document, Teach, Repeat
We're laying the rails while the train is moving. If that excites you, get in touch.
