One of the most crucial federal government departments in Canberra is seeking an experienced **Records Management Officer **to work within a dynamic team, who will be involved in the rollout and migration activities for the Records Workspace system and other records project tasks as required. The successful **Records Management Officer **will secure an **ASAP START **and an initial **6 month contract, **partnered with extension options.
**The successful Records Management Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to;**
- Liaise with stakeholders and internal business areas to review information and knowledge management practices
- Administer the uploading, review, and registration processes of business documentation within the EDRMS.
- Provide technical support/guidance and training in relation to the importance of records management and use of the EDRMS
- Identify business risks and opportunities to improve effectiveness of information and knowledge management
**The successful Records Management Officer must have the following**:
- Proficient user of Windows based computer systems.
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge in EDRMS
- Knowledge of information and knowledge management best practices and records management principles.
- Accurate data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Proven experience working with a variety of stakeholders
