Senior Claims Specialist for Self-Insurance
We are seeking a skilled Senior Claims Specialist to join our team at Haylo People, a trusted specialist recruitment agency in the Personal Injury and Insurance industries.
The Role:
* Manage a portfolio of claims with a focus on proactive case management within our worker's compensation team.
* Oversee end-to-end claims, including both physical and psychological claims, within a self-insurance setting.
About You:
* You will have at least 3 years of experience in performing end-to-end claims management with a Self-Insurer under Victorian Workers Compensation or at least 5 years' experience with a Scheme Insurer under Victorian Workers Compensation.
* A WorkSafe approved training in Role of a Return-to-Work Coordinator is also required.
* You should be able to manage multiple priorities to meet agreed deadlines and possess a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the relationship with a self-insured client and oversee a small claims portfolio.
* Identify, escalate, and manage complex or sensitive claims in accordance with VIC state legislation and other states as required.
* Work collaboratively with a national team and access support from technical advisors & injury specialists to develop claim strategies that achieve best outcomes.
What We Offer:
* A competitive salary based on experience up to $115,000 + superannuation benefits.
* A hybrid working model with 2 days in the office.
