Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based at our Perth office.
You will be responsible for driving sales & rentals of pipeline equipment across the oil & gas sector, identifying & pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, & supporting company growth initiatives.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role involves strategic collaboration with internal teams, regular client meetings (local & interstate travel required), & active involvement in marketing activities across platforms like LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain & grow existing customer accounts while driving new sales & rental opportunities.
* Identify & pursue new business leads through prospecting, networking, & relationship-building.
* Develop & execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the National Major Projects Manager.
* Deliver technical product demonstrations, training sessions, & presentations to educate clients.
* Prepare & deliver proposals, quotes, & contracts, negotiating & closing deals efficiently.
* Build & enhance PSSS's presence across marketing platforms & professional networks.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, & projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* 3–5 years' experience in business development or sales within pipelines, processing plants, or facilities (oil & gas sector preferred).
* Ability to understand & clearly articulate technical product specifications.
* Proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales targets.
* Strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of pipeline equipment & industry trends is highly regarded.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
