**Location -** South Coast Correctional Centre
**Employment type -** Ongoing, Full Time
**Salary -** $88,178 pa + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation
**Your role**
**What you'll do**
As the Overseer, you will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethics and integrity in line with CSI core values to train and supervise inmates as well as Quality control / inspection responsibilities to ensure compliance. You are also required to have sound computer knowledge, show strong resilience and have robust time management skills.
**What we're looking for**
- Proven trade experience
- Experience in process manufacturing
- Ability to diagnose and problem solve
- Ability to train, motivate and supervise staff
- Willingness to work across varying trades and ability to multitask to achieve operational goals
- Must be willing to undertake relevant training as required (paid by CSI)
**Essential Requirements**
- Minimum current Certificate III or greater in Cabinetmaker, Shop Fitter, Joiner, Textiles, Horticulture, Commercial Cookery and/or Food Manufacturing or similar relevant trade qualification.
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
