Mater Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Trials Pharmacist Manager for a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight with flexible hours considered, based at our South Brisbane campus.Mater Health Services in Southeast Queensland includes two public and four private hospitals, serving over 500,000 patients annually. The role involves overseeing inpatient services, contributing positively to community health, and working within a collaborative Clinical Services team at Mater.Salary Range: $73.12 - $76.30 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900, and various staff benefits.What You’ll Be DoingManage performance and coordinate a team of senior pharmacists and support staff, ensuring high standards of clinical trial pharmacy services.Develop team performance through competency assessments, feedback, meetings, and education.Engage with local and international clinical trial sponsors and Mater Health employees to support clinical trial services.Ensure compliance with the National Clinical Trial Governance Framework for accreditation standards.Contribute to staffing, resource allocation, and financial stewardship of the service.Advise senior management on service delivery.About YouBachelor’s degree in pharmacy and eligibility for AHPRA registration.Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Diploma, Masters, PhD) or completion of Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) courses are highly desirable.Recognition at registrar or consultant level with ANZCAP.Minimum three years postgraduate clinical pharmacist experience.Expertise in clinical trial pharmacy practice, legislative requirements, and medication management policies.Leadership or management experience in a pharmacy setting.Experience managing a pharmacy clinical trial unit and providing complex clinical trial services.Ability to offer professional advice, initiate service improvements, and provide clinical supervision and education.Strong time management, financial, and database skills.Mater is Queensland’s largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, caring for nearly 700,000 patients annually across 11 hospitals.
