Role Type: Permanent, Part‐Time 0.6 FTE, 3–4 days 22.8 hours a week, 8:45 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Thursday

About the role
We're seeking a Technical Simulation Officer to support our Hair, Beauty & Barbering team at our Cremorne Campus.
This is a hands‐on, client‐facing position where you will be the first point of contact for students, educators, and clients of our training salon. If you have administration or reception experience and enjoy working in a lively environment, this role will suit you perfectly – no industry experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage salon reception – greet clients, answer enquiries, schedule appointments, process payments.
* Support educators by preparing equipment, setting up classrooms, and organising materials.
* Coordinate client bookings and maintain student/client records.
* Manage stock levels, process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers.
* Maintain a clean, safe, fully functional salon environment.
* Ensure compliance with WHS standards.
Please note that this role is fully onsite.

* Previous experience in administration, reception, or customer‐facing roles (mandatory).
* Experience working in a salon, clinic, hospitality venue or similar (highly regarded but not essential).
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication.
* Proficiency in MS Office; comfortable learning new systems.
* Professional presentation and a welcoming manner.
