About the role
An exciting, immediate start opportunity with a multinational industry‑leading organisation who are a genuine “Employer of Choice” in their sector, exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This hands‑on role will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.
The responsibilities
- Monthly & Annual Reporting: Lead the preparation of consolidated financial results, manage reconciliations, and coordinate external audits and financial statement preparation.
- Technical Accounting: Handle accounting for loans, derivatives, fixed assets, and inventory. Prepare technical papers and policy documentation as needed.
- Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in payments and invoicing.
- Treasury & Compliance: Maintain cash flow forecasts, support debt covenant reporting, and ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to support financial decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tax, FBT and related compliance control and reporting.
- Ad‑hoc continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful applicant will have
You will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting skilled and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross‑functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Previous work experience in a large, complex multinational organisation will be regarded as highly advantageous and/or prior experience within a Big‑4/Mid‑Tier chartered accounting environment.
