**About the Role**
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work between Hocking and Nollamara
- Support two male clients with psychosocial disability and mental health challenges
- Actively support and participate with clients in gaming, art, and community connection
- Implement person-centred support and follow behaviour support plans
- Assist with personal care while promoting independence
- Log daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated support
- Availability for sleepovers is **essential**
**Skills & Experience**
- Resilience and confidence managing complex situations and behaviours
- An unrestricted Western Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
