Opportunity
As an Aboriginal Practice Leader - SCPU (50(d)), you will be responsible for:
* contributing to the development and implementation of effective practices relating to Aboriginal children and their families,
* providing high level advice to the leadership team on issues relating to Aboriginal services that is proactive, solution focussed and responsive to customer needs,
* promoting best practice and continuous improvement in relation to strategic advice and the delivery of services to Aboriginal children, families and communities as required,
* monitoring, reporting and making recommendations on the standard of Departmental Practice as required,
* professional development and practice development training and coaching to staff,
* contributing to and leading the development and implementation of Departmental Frameworks and Policies that lead to improved Departmental and Sector Practice Standards,
* implementing quality assurance mechanisms that support monitoring and continuous improvement of services to Aboriginal children and their families.
